Join one of our ‘Try It’ classes and unleash your artistic potential! 🌟 Our lessons are scheduled hourly for up to 4 participants per hour. During this combined lesson time, the entire group will receive an initial instruction demonstration followed by a turn at the wheel.

Price includes individual instruction and the creation of a small bowl or cup. You will choose from a selection of glaze colors before leaving class. This 4-week adult course will be an introduction to wheel thrown ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will begin with learning how to center clay, create basic forms, and gain comfort with the equipment. We will progress into more difficult forms and more advanced throwing techniques as students build confidence with the material. As the pieces dry the students will learn trimming techniques to refine and finish their work. Projects will include making functional ware from start to finish such as cups, mugs and bowls. Includes clay and firing.  All levels welcome- ages 16 and up. This course can be taken more than once! Meets Mondays in February from 10A-12P
