4 Week Pottery Wheel

This 4-week adult course will be an introduction to wheel thrown ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will begin with learning how to center clay, create basic forms, and gain comfort with the equipment. We will progress into more difficult forms and more advanced throwing techniques as students build confidence with the material. As the pieces dry the students will learn trimming techniques to refine and finish their work. Projects will include making functional ware from start to finish such as cups, mugs and bowls. Includes clay and firing.  All levels welcome- ages 16 and up. This course can be taken more than once! Meets Saturdays (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd) in March from 3-5PM

Intro to Glass Blowing

Adult

Learn to blow glass and make awesome ornaments or aqua tubes perfect for your indoor plants. This is so much fun, and easier than you might think. We will walk you step by step through all the steps to create your beautiful glass treasures. Great gifts or keep for yourself!
Sign up to make a trio of blown glass ornaments or bulbs! You will get to choose color combinations for your glass piece and then flame, fire and blow! We are only taking a limited number of participants for individual attention and safety. 

*Please note class includes approx. a 15 minute wait period after blowing the glass in order for it to anneal and cool before packing. Only $68 per person.
**All participants must be on time, agree to wear short sleeves with no loose jewelry, closed toe shoes and hair must be tied back! Intoxicated participants may not participate. ADULTS ONLY***

Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy: If you are no longer able to attend your reserved time-slot, a request must be submitted 48 hours in advance to receive a class credit voucher. Requests made within less than 48 hours prior to the class it will not be honored.

Toddler Tuesday – Rainbow Fish

Then he realizes that you can’t win friends through beauty. He overcomes his pride and begins to distribute his glitter scales to the other fish.

This 4-week adult course will be an intermediate wheel thrown ceramics workshop. Within this once-a-week course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will include throwing bigger, throwing lids, using additional throwing tools and more. We will progress into more difficult forms and more advanced throwing techniques as students build confidence with the material. Includes clay and bisque firing.  Students should have basic wheel knowlege- ages 16 and up. This course can be taken more than once!
