Non Member Open studio wheel time for guests that have taken a wheel class at Practically Pikasso.
$45 per person includes:
– 2 hours of wheel time
– 3 pounds of clay
– Bisque Firing
Prepping your clay, setting up & clean up is part of the wheel time. If you need to come back to trim it is $10 per hour studio time. Guests must clean the wheels, tools and work area at the end of their session. NO INSTRUCTION PROVIDED. Must have experience. Ages 12+ please. Guests should wear closed toe shoes. Bring a towel and an apron. Keepsake aprons available for purchase. Nails should be trimmed and hair should be pulled back.
CLAY EXPLORER Drop In Wheel Membership
Clay Explorer Drop In Wheel Membership is available during Open Studio Hours. Advance registration recommended to guarantee wheel availability. No storage is available.
- Some dates will have limited availability due to private events. Weekend times must be reserved ahead of time. Open studio time provides no instruction. This is only offered to guests who have taken our Try it Out Nights, Private lessons, classes or have prior experience with the wheel. We cannot give any help during open studio hours If you need assistance on the wheel you will have to schedule a lesson.
Brown or White Mid Fire Clay available for purchase by Clay Explorer Members in 25lb increments. NO OUTSIDE CLAY. Bisque firing included for Clay Explorer Memberships.
Firing is available for pieces made at Pikasso, during open studio hours only. Cost is $0.10/cubic inches for glaze firings and includes use of studio stoneware glazes. No storage for works, personal tools/clay.
No instruction is provided with hourly membership, but our studio assistants are always available for basic questions. All members MUST have previous wheel throwing experience. Click HERE to join our monthly membership program.
