What is paint pouring?
Paint Pouring, also referred to as Fluid Art, is a fun and messy way to get creative! Every paint pour creation comes out entirely unique.
In our parties, you’ll learn different methods of paint pouring including the “dirty pour”.
Paint Pouring is an awesome party for all ages, and the best part is we clean up the mess!
Please come dressed for mess. It is a hands-on painting activity. We provide aprons and gloves. You’ll have so much fun you will want to do it again & again.
Price is determined by the canvas or wood piece you choose. A talented Pikasso artist will guide you step by step through the acrylic pouring process.
Camp Policies and Disclaimers
Campers will not be permitted to sign themselves in or out for camp. A parent or guardian must sign campers in and out. Camps will offer park visit opportunities with parental permission. Campers not permitted to attend field trips will be supervised in the studio by studio staff and provided coloring, games or a movie option. Parents will be notified if a child has an ongoing discipline problem causing disruption or harm to other campers. After multiple attempts to redirect a child and notification of a parent, children with excessive misbehavior problems will be excused from camp. Store credit will be issued for balance of remaining days. No refunds are provided.
All full day campers must bring two snacks, water bottle, a bag lunch or a gift card for Panera Bread. PLEASE NO CASH. Parents will be contacted if campers have inadequate funds on their gift card and will have the option of ordering online. Half Day Campers should bring one snack and a water bottle. NO FOOD IS PROVIDED BY PRACTICALLY PIKASSO. Due to allergy concerns, campers may not share food or snacks with other campers. Campers wishing to purchase items from the studio snack bar must have cash and parents permission.
Camp Technology Policy
Campers are encouraged to leave all electronic devices at home in order to gain the full camp experience. Staff are happy to contact a child’s parent or guardian if needed in case of emergency, illness or behavior issues. Children attending Before Care or After Care are welcome to bring tablets or gaming devices for use during these times only. Campers with cell phones will be asked to keep them put away in their bags or turn them in to a staff member during camp. Practically Pikasso can not be responsible for loss, theft or damage to devices. Campers that have to be asked to put away their phones more than once during camp will be asked not to bring their devices for future camp dates. Campers may not record – photographs, video, social media – any other campers or any portion of camp without permission from camp staff and parents of all campers involved.
Camp Focus and Experience Expectations
While developing your childs skills and knowledge, each week of camp will focus on a specific “theme”. Camp Projects and Mediums vary per day. We can not guarantee your child will complete any specific project. This is a Creative camp featuring various projects, not all pottery painting. Projects will all be instructor led. Campers will experience a variety of art mediums including pottery, clay, water color, acrylic painting, glass painting, oil pastels, chalk drawing and more. Through much of the day our campers will focus on the hands on process of the art projects. Children will have the opportunity to explore, experience and enjoy various art mediums with the focus being on the process versus the finished project. We encourage you to discuss these processes with your children. Dry, non fired pieces may go home each day with your camper. All fired art will be ready to pick up in 2 weeks on the Friday. We encourage you to share your child’s excitement when they bring home their works of art. All fired pottery is food safe, but should be hand washed. Camp bags must be picked up within 30 days Any camp projects not picked up by this date become property of Practically Pikasso.
Extended Care Policies
Before & After Care Policy: Before and After Care is available for $7.50 per hour. All full day campers not picked up by 4:15P and half day campers not picked up by 12:15P will be charged for After Care at $3.75 per half hour. Before Care is available 7:30A to 9:30A. After Care is available 4P to 6P. Before and after care must be registered for and paid in advance, as staff are not scheduled for before/after care unless there is a need. Before and after care campers will be provided coloring and games during extended care times and will have the option to watch a movie. This is the only time personal electronics or toys are permitted at camp.
COVID 19 Policy
Practically Pikasso recommends all campers wear a face covering – however, according to Pinellas County mandate, it is at parental discretion. WE DO RECOMMEND ALL CAMPERS WEAR A MASK. We will attempt to seat campers wearing face coverings at opposite tables of campers not wearing face coverings when possible. Your child may be attending camp with campers not wearing face coverings. In case of a mandated government shut down account credits will be issued along with a bonus pottery to go kit from Practically Pikasso.
