Whether you're a seasoned artist or a first-time creator, you'll enjoy every moment of this hands-on experience.

🐣 The Clay Chickens' Transformation 🐣

Once you've shaped your clay chickens to perfection, they will need some time to dry and prepare for their next adventure. We'll carefully fire them to bisque, a process that will take approximately 10 days. Afterward, your clay chickens will be ready for their final transformation.

Return at your convenience to pick up your fired clay chickens and let your creativity flow as you paint them. You can choose your own schedule for this painting session, ensuring that you have all the time you need to give your chickens the vibrant colors and personality they deserve.

Paint with the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt

Adult Wheel Deep Dive Workshop

This 3 hour adult course will be a next step course to wheel thrown ceramics. Within this course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will begin with learning how to trim, pull handles and create pieces with more difficulty. Students will learn trimming techniques to refine and finish their work. Projects will include making functional ware from start to finish such as cups, mugs and bowls. Includes clay and firing. Students should have taken at least one Beginner Wheel Workshop This course can be taken more than once!

Kids Clay Day Camp

Camp Children Clay summer camp

Our 4-hour camp invites kids aged 7 to 13 to explore the art of pottery, including hand-building with wet clay and experiencing the thrill of wheel throwing. Please remember to pack a lunch and a water bottle for your child's enjoyment during the camp.

After the camp, all clay creations will undergo kiln firing and will be ready for pickup in approximately 2-3 weeks. Find us at our studio located at 6850 Central Avenue.

This two-day workshop is perfect for Teens or Adults who want to learn the techniques of throwing mugs on the pottery wheel. Hand carving clay is an exciting and rewarding technique for beginning potters. No previous experience necessary.
Limit 4 students

Workshop Schedule:

First Day: Centering clay, basics of throwing, shaping clay mug forms. Complete 2 mugs.

Second Day: Trimming, adding handles and hand carving texture into mugs.

Class fee includes small group instruction, clay, glazes, and 2 finished stoneware clay mugs. Pieces will remain at the studio to dry, get fired in the kiln, and glazed. They will be ready for pick up approximately 3 weeks from the last date of class.

Pre-registration for this class is required. No refunds or rescheduling of wheel classes due to small class size and limited availability.

Marbeling Clay on the Wheel

Adult Clay

This session is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the pottery wheel and the unique technique of marbling in pottery. Students will learn how to throw a vessel combing our white and brown stoneware clays into a beautifully marbled piece. While beginners are welcome, we recommend you have had at least one beginner wheel class at some point so you can get the most time experiencing this stunning technique. Ages 15+

4 Week Pottery Wheel

This 4-week course will be an introduction to wheel thrown ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will begin with learning how to center clay, create basic forms, and gain comfort with the equipment. We will progress into more difficult forms and more advanced throwing techniques as students build confidence with the material. As the pieces dry the students will learn trimming techniques to refine and finish their work. Projects will include making functional ware from start to finish such as cups, mugs and bowls. Includes clay and firing. All levels welcome. This course can be taken more than once! Class Meets Wednesdays in April from 6:45P to 8:45P
