Clay Pumpkin Workshop

Join us to make a hand built clay pumpkin perfect for your fall decor! Each student will create three pumpkins. This program is designed for beginners and no prior art skills are needed. Clay pumpkins will need to go into the kiln twice. After the first firing you can return to paint your pumpkin at no additional charge. Workshop for ages 13+. Class fee includes all clay, use of tools, two firings and pottery glazes.

Adult Wheel 4 Week Workshop

Adult Clay

This 4-week adult course will be an introduction to wheel thrown ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will begin with learning how to center clay, create basic forms, and gain comfort with the equipment. We will progress into more difficult forms and more advanced throwing techniques as students build confidence with the material. As the pieces dry the students will learn trimming techniques to refine and finish their work. Projects will include making functional ware from start to finish such as cups, mugs and bowls. Includes clay and firing. All levels welcome. This course can be taken more than once!

Advance Your Wheel Skills Series

For those of you who have already attended our Beginner Wheel Workshop and feel ready for the next step or if you are new to our studio but have prior Clay Experience and would like to sharpen and expand your current skills, this class is for you! Space is limited so don’t miss your chance to play with mud! In this class we will be expanding on our basic skills on the potter's wheel. The class projects will be comprised of fun weekly skill building exercises presented so you will be able to maximize your time on the wheel. This class will focus on process over product so that you will begin to gain the confidence and basic skills needed create simple vessels. In this 4 week course we will cover: cylinders, bowls, cups, handles, trimming and plates. Includes clay and firing. This course can be taken more than once!
