Adult will learn the basics of wheel throwing by forming and throwing simple shapes on the potter’s wheel. This is an introductory workshop for beginners that allows new artists to experience the feel of the wheel. Students will create 1-2 pieces in this 2 hour workshop (approx 1.5 hours of instruction). We'll spend the day together creating a beautiful handmade dinner set that you'll be able to enjoy with your family and friends for years to come or give as a gorgeous gift.
No experience needed, everything will be provided to create 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates and 4 bowls.

Learn two fun pottery painting techniques in this beautiful watercolor workshop. Choose from three sea turtle designs to make your plate uniquely yours. Workshop recommended for adults but ages 13 and over are welcome
Bring your favorite Dad (or Dad figure) for a Father's Day story and paint. We will read Froggy's Day with Dad then assist guests in creating this fun fingerprint keepsake plate!
This 4-week adult course will be an introduction to wheel thrown ceramics. Within this once-a-week course, this class will learn how to create functional ceramics on a potters wheel. The class will begin with learning how to center clay, create basic forms, and gain comfort with the equipment. We will progress into more difficult forms and more advanced throwing techniques as students build confidence with the material. As the pieces dry the students will learn trimming techniques to refine and finish their work. Projects will include making functional ware from start to finish such as cups, mugs and bowls. Includes clay and firing. Additional supplies available for purchase! All levels welcome. This course can be taken more than once!
